Just a bit of trivia about the word.

Ever wonder what the correct spelling is?

Well the noun can be spelt several ways:

  • Bookkeeper - is a common way and how Google seem to prefer it

  • Book Keeper - is another way

  • Book-Keeper - is yet another way

All of the above are legitimate ways to spell Bookkeeper, the same can be said for bookkeeping, book keeping and book-keeping.

Have you noticed that the words Bookkeeper and bookkeeping, have three consecutive pairs of letters adjacent to each other. They are the only words in English like it.
